Commenting on the capital raised, Ali Asgar Kagzi, Co-founder, Genext Students said, ‘At-home’ tutoring is picking up pace in India with an increasing number of young parents seeking after-school support for their kids. Currently available options are largely passive in nature with no active involvement of the tutor. Hence, an assisted learning platform like ours offers a proposition that benefits parents, students and tutors equally. Thanks to our strong business model and our robust growth of over 400% last year,we have managed to win the trust of our investors. With the fresh funds thus raised, we are looking to further bolster our growth aggressively.”
